Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Trust1 Technology ("we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information when a merchant installs and uses T1: ChatGPT Ads Feed (the "App") on a Shopify store. The App sends a store's product catalog to the merchant's own ChatGPT Ads account.
1. Information we collect
From Shopify, when you install the App
The App asks Shopify only for permission to read products, read inventory and read legal policies. With that permission we collect:
- Store details: store domain, store name, currency, country, primary domain, time zone, the address of your refund policy page, and whether your online store is password protected.
- Catalog data: products, variants, prices, inventory, images, collections, tags, vendors, barcodes and other product fields needed to build your feed.
- Access token: the token Shopify issues so the App can read the data above.
- Subscription status: which plan you're on, from Shopify's billing system. We never see your card or bank details.
From you, inside the App
- Your ChatGPT Ads API key, or the upload server details (host, username and password) if you use manual upload.
- Your feed settings and product choices, such as which products to send or exclude.
From ChatGPT Ads (OpenAI)
- Basic ad account details (account ID, name, currency, time zone and review status) and the results of each feed upload, such as accepted and rejected counts and error codes.
What we don't collect
The App does not request access to orders or customers and does not collect personal information about your shoppers. If a future feature (such as conversion tracking) needs such data, we will update this policy and ask for the required Shopify permissions first.
2. How we use information
- To build your product feed, check it for problems and send it to your ChatGPT Ads account on your instructions or on your plan's schedule.
- To show you sync results, feed issues and how to fix them.
- To apply your plan and its limits.
- To provide support when you contact us.
- To keep the App secure and working, including finding and fixing errors.
We don't sell your information, use it for advertising of our own, or use your catalog to train AI models.
3. How we share information
We share information only with the following parties, and only as needed to run the App:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to a successor if our business is sold or merged, under the same protections as this policy.
4. How long we keep information
- Copies of the feed files sent to ChatGPT Ads are kept for 7 days so you can download them, then deleted.
- Server logs are rotated automatically and never contain your API key, passwords or access tokens.
- When you uninstall the App, we stop using your access token and billing stops. Shopify then sends us a data removal request 48 hours later, and we delete all of your store's data: settings, catalog copy, feed history, stored keys and feed files.
Uninstalling does not remove products already sent to your ChatGPT Ads account. You can delete the feed in ChatGPT Ads Manager.
5. Security
Data travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Your ChatGPT Ads API key, upload passwords and upload keys are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Access to production systems is limited to the people who operate the App. Every request inside the App is limited to the store that is signed in.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your information, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, email support@t1pilot.io from the address on your Shopify account. We also respond to the data requests Shopify forwards on behalf of merchants and their customers. If you're in the European Economic Area or the UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
7. International transfers
Our servers and service providers may be located outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Children
The App is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16.
9. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will tell you in the App or by email before it takes effect.
